How to get to Aruba Heli Tours |
TEAM
You will fly with us:
Richard Streitberger - Pilot
born on September 5, 1980 in Zell am See, Austria. He has been a helicopter pilot since 2007 and graduated at Helipro Helicopter Flight School in San Luis Obispo, CA. He holds a FAA Commercial Pilot license. Before being a helicopter pilot, Richard worked as an electrician in Maishofen and Kaprun, Austria. Then he worked as a technician for a company, which produces hygienic products, in Maishofen, Austria. There he was staring almost the whole day into a computer screen. That was too much for him. For this reason he decided to let a dream come true. Besides helicopter flying he really loves to spend time with mountain biking, climbing and skiing. He really misses the Austrian mountains. On Aruba he really enjoys the evenings or a day on the beach. He loves the sound of the sea, because it helps him to relieve stress.Simon L. Smith - Pilot
Simon is a British helicopter pilot from the North East of England. As a boy he saw a helicopter spraying crops and from that day on he wanted to fly helicopters. He started learning to fly in the UK before moving to the USA to complete a Professional Pilot Training Course and now holds FAA Commercial, Instrument and Instrument Instructor licenses. Originally trained as a mechanical engineer, he later gained a PhD for designing a machine which simulated walking, allowing the testing and design of novel artificial hip joints. After several years, Simon set up several, very different companies of his own from gardening to designing safety alarms for the elderly and disabled. However, within minutes of trying to fly a helicopter for the first time he knew what his future job would be! Trine A. Hildre - Pilot Trine grew up in a tiny village on the beautiful west coast of Norway. She moved to the USA to complete a Professional Pilot Training Course and is a qualified Commercial pilot with an Instrument rating and is also a Certified Instrument Flight Instructor. She loves Aruba and enjoys swimming and snorkeling in the beautiful blue seas. The slow, relaxing pace of life here suits her just fine when she is not working as a busy professional pilot for Aruba heli-tours and hopes to stay here for many years. |
